LORETTA PETIT is the highly regarded 2-time Stellar Award-Nominated veteran broadcaster who has been heard around the world. During the course of her 28-year radio career, she has worked for various broadcasting companies as well as has written for several newspapers and magazines.
She has published two books and her second book was nominated for the literary, Henri Award. To assist other up and coming authors, in 1996, Ms. Petit developed the writing workshop “An Author’s Forum: Is there a book in you?”
Dr. Lo helped many businesses to launch and helped hundreds of owners through her 6-year “Christian Business Summit & Trade Show” event. Dr. Lo continues to develop workshops and seminars to address challenges combatting personal and/or business development. In 2014, she founded C.O.F.F.E.E. which is the Christian Circle of Female Friends for Empowerment/ Encouragement where she has coached both, professional and non-professional women. In that same year, she started the InsPRAYERational Connection Prayerline, a weekly gathering of Believers via phone conferencing.
Loretta is a woman of faith and walks it out in her commitment to God through serving others. She has served many families over the years through her GIVING PROJECT, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” Dr. Lo serves on the Board of Directors for a Transitional Home for Women, Lindy’s Place. She has for many years been a Partner in Hope to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; has served Junior Achievement as instructor and facilitator in projects to aid students; as a H.O.S.T.S. tutor and an Each One, Save One mentor.
She relishes a rainy day and a good book. One of her greatest joys is spending quality time with her family. Licensed and ordained, she serves at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church as 2nd Assistant Pastor, Church Council Member, and Overseer of its Evangelism Ministry. Elder Petit has offered life-altering oratory messages to corporate staff as well as a host of churches. She holds degrees in journalism, business and has completed coursework in Leadership and Management at the graduate level (ABD). She is passionate about training leaders and developing winning strategies for both business and personal growth. She is the founder of PETIT-KENDEKA Women Edu-Preneurs, a non profit organization to serve as a resource for women who wish to become entrepreneurs or to re-connect with their educational goals.
