Brandy Alexis is a black girl on a journey to inner P.E.A.C.E (positivity, enlightenment, achievement, contentment, and exhilaration). Along this ever-evolving journey she has studied at the University of Southern California, receiving her BFA in Theater and earned a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. Her professional profile vividly illustrates her commitment to bolstering the development and self-actualization of others, as a Social Worker, Higher Education Professional, Career Consultant, and now as a co-host of The Well-Being. She is excited about sharing the starts and stops of her wellness journey with the listeners, from her experiences with chakra alignments, to her gross misconceptions about her natural hair, using positive affirmations to drive home the belief that she is enough, moving back home to New Orleans and feeling misplaced in a gentrifying city, to receiving a teaching from the Dalai Lama himself! Brandy’s hope is that her personal experiences along with the lessons she has learned from great teachers will inspire others to ditch the all or nothing, black and white approach to well-being and live WELLNESS IN COLOR!
Along this journey, she’s had her chakras aligned, her oras cleansed, climbed mountains
